Sophie says:
One fine day, Sophie decided to visit Elisabet in her quarters. Unfortunately, when the cook walked in Elisabet happened to be cleaning and organizing her various needles and syringes. Sophie avoided her crew-mates’ door for a fortnight.
After a spontaneous visit, Kieran avoids Elisabet’s quarters for a completely different reason.
And through both this instances, both these women have learned a very important lesson aboard Sappho: knock first.

Sophie’s tried many an odd food in her lifetime: chicken heart, raw conch, rambutan and the like. However, one mundane food just cannot pass her teeth without a complaint: potatoes
Which is a shame, because potatoes are cheap and smuggling is not a regular source of income.
But Sophie doesn’t care because they’re just useless lumps of starch an- Sophie agrees with this fact and prepares potato dishes on occasion.
